Welcome to the mini digital edition of chapter 7 of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Made by Cor Frederickx as a project for the Text as Data course 2024-2025, taught at the University of Antwerp.

This digital edition was based on the digitized manuscript of Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley and Percy Byssche Shelley, as provided by the Shelley-Godwin Archive.

• original text can be found in Oxford's Bodleian library.
• The manuscript with its various alterations was encoded in TEI-compliant XML on the basis of the BDMP Encoding Manual.
